Natalie’s background before running AT Groundworks and the MTS Group was in business development and professional relations for companies in the national healthcare market. Excellent communication and transparency are key to working in the healthcare industry and she doesn’t see the construction industry any differently. Natalie is passionate about investing in her teams, providing the latest and compliance. Natalie continues to invest local apprenticeship programs across the trades investing in people who want to join this essential, exciting industry. MTS group offer apprenticeships for young people just starting their career at the age of 16, through to men and women of any age or background looking to retrain and join this ever-growing in the industry.

MTS also invested, in the infancy of the company, in a mobile app-based HR and health and safety platform. This means all employees can securely access their employment data and health and safety policies/advice anytime, anywhere.

The construction industry is a very rewarding career but can be very challenging. That’s why AT Groundworks with the MTS Group are incredibly passionate about supporting our team in both their work life and personal life. All employees have 24hr, 365 day a year access to our Employee Assistance Program, which offers confidential, expert and compassionate advice for a wide range of mental wellbeing issues.

Matthew Scriven, Director & Co-Owner

Matthew has worked in the construction industry for the last 18 years. Although groundworks is not Matthew’s first trade, he understood the growing need safe groundworks solutions with his wealth of experience in carpentry, roofing, scaffolding, general building and site management. This is why he created AT Groundworks to run alongside his other construction contracting businesses.

Matthew has always had a very much hands on approach across the MTS Group businesses. Over the years he has managed to build an incredibly hard working and expert work force which he has developed into a great success.

All our operatives are fully experienced, all carrying CSCS/CPCS and CISRS cards. We are CQMS and SMAS registered and we have vast experience in the following areas of work;

• Substructures (raft, pad / strip footings including formwork & reinforcement etc)
• Floor slabs
• Retaining walls
• Brickwork / blockwork to dpc
• Deep drainage and tank installation
• All elements of external works.
